Categories of Australia Parent Visa
These immigration visas are offered with varied conditions for applicants staying inshore and offshore.
1] Aged Parent Visa: Subclass 804 (onshore)
This is an inshore permit for aged parents to reside in Astralia permanently. An applicant essentially have children who are Australian citizens or are permanent residents of this country. Parents whose children are citizens of New Zealand are entitled for this visa type.
2] Contributory Aged Parent Visa: Subclass 884 (Temporary: onshore)
This is temporary visa, for a period of two years, valid for parents whose children are permanent resident of Australia or entitled New Zealand citizens. Subclass 884 visa is processed faster, however at an elevated cost. A temporary visa holder is entitled to permanent immigration after two years.
3] Contributory Aged Parent Visa: Subclass 864 (onshore)
This visa type is for aged parents whose children are permanent resident in country or entitled New Zealand citizens. With compare to other visa types this is processed faster.
4] Contributory Parent Migrant Visa: Subclass 173 to 143
Application this visa category may be done Applicant should apply for Contributory Parent Migrant Visa before expiry of Contributory Parent Visa, here the Contributory Parent Visa is issued for temporary residence in country. This immigration process is allowed for candidates having 'contributory parent visa subclass 173' and want to apply for this type of visa.
The Immigration Department offers Parent Migration Visa: Subclass 103; Contributory Parent Temporary Visa: Subclass 173; and Contributory Parent Migration Visa: Subclass 143 for the parents staying outside the country or say the Australian province.
